About the board of directors
The board of directors of the QAEA is the management body of the association. It is made up of seven members elected by the members of the association at the annual general meeting. The mission of the board of directors is to:
- Define the strategic orientations and general objectives of the association.
- Supervise financial management and compliance with the legal rules of the association.
- Approve the annual budget and financial reports of the association.
- Appoint the general director and the auditor of the association.
- Represent the association to external partners and the media.
- Ensure the quality and safety of events and activities organized by the association.
- Promote the anthropomorphic culture and the values of the association.
Our members can stand for election to the board of directors, only people who:
- Have been members of the association since at least six months before the date of the election.
- Are 18 years of age or over at the time of election.
- Have not been convicted of a criminal or penal offense related to the management of an organization.
- Have not been declared incapacitated by a court or under guardianship or curatorship.
- Have completed and signed the application form and submitted it to the association secretariat at least 15 days before the date of the election.
